Kindergarten Registration at Rahn Schulen Kairo for the School Year 2025/2026

Dear Parents,

We are pleased about your interest in our kindergarten! We would like to introduce you to the admission process.

The following steps are part of the admission process:
– Registration
– Invitation to 2 trial days, online payment, and trial days themselves
– Parent meeting with the kindergarten management
– Recommendation to the school management
– Notification of admission or rejection by the school management

1. Registration
You can register your child online at:

Please observe the registration deadlines for the different levels.
The registration fee of 2,000 LE for the trial days must be paid online. The payment must be received no later than 3 days before the trial days.

2. Invitation to the Trial Days
Your child will be invited by our school office approximately 10 days in advance for 2 trial days in our kindergarten. You will then have time to pay for the trial days. The registration fee of 2,000 LE for the trial days must be paid online. Payment must be received no later than 3 days before the trial days:

Please send the payment receipt to the school office.

This fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the trial days.
Generally, the trial days last for 2 mornings (approx. 4 hours, from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM). Multiple children are invited on the same day to offer each child a group experience. We focus on social skills, well-developed gross and fine motor skills, and overall age-appropriate behavior of the children. Language development is another aspect of the evaluation.

3. Parent Meeting with the Kindergarten Management
After the trial days, you will receive another invitation for a personal parent meeting with the kindergarten management, where you will receive further information about our kindergarten’s care services.

4. Recommendation to the School Management
Both factors (trial day and parent meeting) are presented to the school management, which makes a recommendation for admission.

5. Notification of Admission or Rejection by the School Management
After the recommendation from the school management, the notification of admission or rejection of your application will be sent out.
Please note: No information will be provided regarding ongoing applications or the decision of admission or rejection.

**Note for Late Applications**
Applications received after the application deadline will be placed on a waiting list. If the capacities of the various classes allow, you will receive a response between 27.04.2025 – 08.05.2025, along with an invitation for a trial day for your child. Please note that being on the waiting list does not guarantee admission to our kindergarten.

**Required Documents for Admission:**
– Original birth certificate of the child
– 12 colored passport photos
– Full names of both parents or guardians with copies of ID
– If applicable: custody decision
– Valid address, email address, and phone numbers
– Any relevant medical documents (allergies, illnesses)
– Copy of the child’s vaccination record
– Copy of the passport

**Kindergarten Tour Dates:**
